The Western Hognose Snake (Heterodon nasicus)
is a spunky little colubrid native to various parts of America and Mexico. Though they have many common names reflecting their sassy attitudes and unique turn up faces, "Hognose" seems to suit them best. They can live for more than 20 years if properly cared for and grow up to 3 feet in length.
